The purpose of this in-class assessment was to create a short film from a series of photographs. The short movie below entitled "The Rise of PlayDoh" was created with a total of 55 individual exposures. In Windows Movie Maker, I set the duration of each indivual slide to 0.08 (1/12th of a second). This means that every second twelve images are played. What I learned from this assignment is that, in general, the more pictures one takes the better the final movie will be (in terms of smootheness). However, in order for the final video not to be choppy, one must make gradual and slight changes from one exposure onto the next.
